When she was working on her first movie, the director told her to "hug the coach" as she walked by it, which
in director's lingo means to walk very close to it. She didn't know it ment that, so she went over and actually hugged the
coach! All the crew just busted up laughing!
"I was signing autographs at a Disney concert, and people were just everywhere. I got up to take a break and, when I went
back to my chair, I started to sit down and it wasn't there. I busted it big-time in front of everyone!"
Hilary had a spill on the set of Cadet Kelly. "I'm so embassrassed! I turned around and stepped on my own foot and fell
in front of 50 people!"
When Hilary was younger, she visited her Grandmom's house, ready to eat her dinner rolls. The rolls have to sit out all
day and rise, and then you put them in the oven. "One day, when my grandmother wasn't watching, I ate like nine of them that
were like size of a grapefruit. No joke! I looked like I was a 7-year-old pregnant women! My stomach kept blowing up and hurt
so bad. Turns out, the rolls weren't cooked in the oven yet. My grandmother made me sit down for an hour and drink Alka-Seltzer.
It was the nastiest experience of my life. I hate the stuff now."
On the set of her first movie, Casper Meets Wendy, she was chasing after a goat for a scene. The director screamed, "Meaner,
Meaner!" She ran faster with this angry expression on her face. The director yelled cut: "Hilary, what are you doing?" he
said. She told him she was just following directions. Turns out he was calling the goat - his name was Meaner.
